Taylor Earnhardt-Putnam Newest National Champ
TAYLOR EARNHARDT PUTNAM NEWEST NATIONAL CHAMPION IN DEI STABLES
Taylor Earnhardt Putnam Wins 2015 Southern Rodeo Association All-Around Cowgirl Championship
MOORESVILLE, NC – November 8, 2015 – Taylor Earnhardt Putnam was born into racing royalty but has made her mark with a different kind of horsepower, when she recently won the National Championship title of 2015 Southern Rodeo Association All-Around Cowgirl at the prestigious 2015 SRA Finals in Asheville, NC. The SRA is renowned as the “South’s Oldest Rodeo Association” and the largest rodeo promoter east of the Mississippi.
In the chase for this championship, Taylor competed in a grueling schedule of more than 70 rodeo events in 14 states over a span of 12 months, with some rodeos being multi-day competitions. Her competition horses from the Earnhardt Stables were Mr. C, Cowboy, and PacMan. She also partnered with Willie the Wonder Horse, loaned by Terry Lipscomb, and was able to win with all four horses.
“It was tough at times, but with the help of my husband Brandon, and the encouragement of my mother, I was able to not only win the championship, but to enjoy the ride,” said Taylor.
Earnhardt-Putnam was the NBHA National Barrel Horse Association South Carolina District Champion in 2010, the 2008 All-Around Champion at the world famous Josey Ranch in Texas, 2003 Champion of the Junior Southern Rodeo Association, and 2003 Carolina National Barrel Horse Association (NBHA) Champion. Clearly, the daughter of the seven-time NASCAR Champion Dale Earnhardt has inherited his competitive spirit.
“We’ve always been proud of Taylor, and another Championship will strengthen our mission to continue the legacy of her father and the Earnhardt Family as champions, in a way that is all her own.” Teresa Earnhardt.
Taylor also finished in the Top Ten in season-long SRA standings in both Barrel Racing and Breakaway Roping points.
An multi-faceted talent, not only has Taylor earned respect as a champion rodeo competitor, but her credentials and experiences have allowed her to create a platform for endorsement and sponsorship opportunities for those who wish to communicate with fans of these sports. She was recently chosen to represent both the American Hat Company and Rock’n Wilsons Leather Company, both of whom are world renowned for their craftsmanship and high quality. With their insistence on using only the best, and their heritage of quality and being leading innovators in styling, a partnership with Earnhardt Putnam was a natural fit.
