Dale Earnhardt Day 2015 Recap
Dale Earnhardt Inc. was happy to host fans for the 2016 Dale Earnhardt Day on Friday, April 29th, at the DEI Corporate Headquarters in Mooresville, NC.
One of the highlights of this year’s commemoration was the first public viewing of a custom statue of Dale Earnhardt, by renowned artist Jason Fizer of Roanoke, VA. The life-sized, life-like sculpture is amazingly detailed, reflecting the consideration and effort put into the project by Mr. Fizer, who gave talks throughout the day explaining the process involved in the making of this remarkable tribute to Dale.
Exceptional items from Dale’s past and Dale Earnhardt Inc.’s history were on display, and the Grand Showroom was opened to the public, in honor of Dale’s birthday.
A celebration of the extraordinary life and legacy of Dale Earnhardt, this event is held on his birthday, and has become a time to reflect on the influence and accomplishments of Dale, and share favorite memories and stories, with many attendees returning each year.
An annual tradition of Dale Earnhardt Day, custom birthday cupcakes were provided in honor of “The Intimidator’s“ birthday.
The Dale Earnhardt Foundation was able to collect a good number of gently-used or new books for their Book Drive project to benefit the Salvation Army’s Center of Hope, in Charlotte, NC, and also awarded many great prizes through their Silent Auctions.
Dale Earnhardt Inc. is located at 1675 Dale Earnhardt Highway #3, Mooresville, NC.
