9th Annual Dale Earnhardt Candlelight Tribute Held at Dale Earnhardt Inc. Headquarters on Highway #3 in Mooresville, N.C.
Dale Earnhardt, Inc. held its 9th Annual Dale Earnhardt Tribute on Thursday, February 18, 2010. The event, which took place at the DEI corporate office in Mooresville, N.C., has been held yearly since the loss of Dale Earnhardt in 2001. The Dale Earnhardt Tribute celebrated Earnhardt’s life and paid tribute to the seven-time NASCAR Sprint Cup Series champion.
The Dale Earnhardt Candlelight Tribute provided fans with the opportunity to interact and share their memories of the NASCAR racing legend. Everyone in attendance had the opportunity to sign a guest book, and received a 2010 Dale Earnhardt Tribute decal.
The DEI showroom, which features memorabilia from Earnhardt’s racing career and DEI’s 30-year history in the sport, was open to the public. Admission to the showroom was free of charge.
DEI was also be accepting donations to the Dale Earnhardt Foundation, the mission of which is to “Continue The Legend™” and legacy of Dale Earnhardt through charitable programs and grants that sustain his lifelong commitment to Children, Education and Environmental/Wildlife Preservation.
