Story, a sports marketing veteran who has served as CEO and General Manager of Robby Gordon Motorsports since the company's inception in 2003, will manage sales, marketing and communication's activities at Dale Earnhardt, Inc., and will assist and report to recently appointed company president, Max Siegel, in strategic development of the company.

In addition to his role with Robby Gordon Motorsports, Story has held marketing and/or communications positions with Greg Norman's Great White Shark Enterprises, International Speedway Corporation, Walt Disney World and the PGA of America.

“John is a proven and savvy industry veteran who brings a lot of valuable experience to the DEI management team,” Earnhardt commented. “He will be a great compliment to Max and the entire DEI team.”

"What attracted me to DEI is the vision Teresa has for the company, the commitment she has already shown and the ideas she has shared with me for taking the company beyond its already prominent position," Story said. "She has clearly illustrated that commitment by bringing Max on board, and having the opportunity to learn from him and work with him day-to-day is also a huge attraction."

Mrs. Earnhardt also announced the appointment of Andrew Campagnone to Director of Sales. Campagnone has a long and varied sports sales career, and comes to DEI from Ganassi Racing where he served a similar role.
