BASS PRO SHOPS OUTDOOR ACTIVITY
With Bass Pro Shops professionals, children can learn about outdoor activities enjoyed by Dale Earnhardt.
Blue Bird Nesting Box Construction NEW FOR 2008
Hands on instruction on how to construct Blue Bird Nesting Boxes and information on where to place them.
Turkey Call Making Demonstrations NEW FOR 2008
Custom call makers demonstrate the art of making Box Calls and Slate Calls. Kids would have the opportunity to put together their own box or slate call.
Outdoor Optics NEW FOR 2008
Hands on demonstrations of Spotting Scopes, Binoculars and Range Finders. With range finders participants would guess different ranges to win prizes.
Tree Stand Safety NEW FOR 2008
Demonstration of proper use of tree stands both fixed and climbing provided by NC Wildlife Resource Commission. Participants will be asked to sign a pledge that they will continue to use a tree stand safety harness.
GPS Scavenger Hunt
Participants will use GPS units to locate various locations throughout the event for prizes.
Archery
This is a hands on experience for kids to shoot real bows and arrows and balloon targets. Children will receive prizes for hit targets!
Catfish Pond
Kids will have the opportunity to catch and release live catfish through the use of instruction offered by Bass Pro Shops professionals.
Casting
Kids will have the opportunity to cast casting plugs (no hooks) at rings for prizes. Bass Pro Shops professionals will provide instruction.

Enter to win a fishing trip with Kerry Earnhardt and a Bass Pro Shop Professional. Spend a memorable afternoon fishing on either Lake Wylie or Lake Norman with a true outdoorsman. The winner will also be provided with a Johnny Morris rod and reel combo and a Bass Pro Shops Qualifier 360 tackle bag filled with Bass Pro Shops and XPS fishing tackle.
No purchase necessary to win. Drawing will take place on the Main Stage at 5:15 PM.
US ARMY
US Army will on be on-site with various activities for fans.

A unique Turtle Wax display unit will be available for all along with unique giveaways for fans.

NASCAR Technical Institute
Visit the NASCAR Technical Institute display, learn about their educational program while also participating in a “Spark Plug Challenge”
Taylor Earnhardt Equestrian Demonstrations
Taylor Earnhardt will be on-site and providing riding demonstrations during the day. Scheduled times to follow.
